DR. GREG HOGAN
optometrist

Greg N. Hogan, O.D., was raised in Omaha, Nebraska, and attended The University of Nebraska at Lincoln. He completed a four year program of professional studies at The Ohio State University College of Optometry in Columbus in the degree Doctor of Optometry. While there, he was a member of The American Optometric Student Association, and Epilson Psi Epilson, a professional optometric fraternity which promotes high standards of optometric practice.

Upon graduation, Dr. Hogan was a consultant to a contact lens specialty practice in Omaha, Nebraska, from 1984 to 1987.

Dr. Hogan opened practice in Lubbock in 1988. He specializes in early detection of glaucoma, diabetes, macular degeneration, treatment of eye disease, and laser vision management. Along with eyeglasses, Dr.Hogan enjoys working with contacts, especially soft toric and bifocal contact lens designs. 

Dr. Hogan is a member of The Texas Optometric Association and The American Optometric Association. His personal interests include photography and triathlons, which is swimming, biking, and running

Dr. Efren S. Alambar, is an optometrist who specializes in/is certified as a Therapeutic and Glaucoma Specialist - which allows him to prescribe medications to treat eye diseases.

 

Dr. Alambar is a Texas native born in Winters, Texas. He graduated from Levelland High School in 1978, then graduated from South Plains College with an Associates in Science Degree in 1980, then graduated from West Texas State University in 1982 with a Bachelor's in Science. Then he completed his Doctorate in Optometry at the University of Houston College of Optometry in 1986.

In his free time he enjoys Texas Tech Sports.

They are responsible for doing preliminary testing prior to seeing the doctor, as well as all specialized testing. They handle most of the contact lens ordering and follow-up care and can even be found helping out in optical when needed.
